Via Instapundit, here is an interesting discussion on the roots of Al Qaeda as the name for the terrorist organization. Did it come from Isaac Asimov's Foundation? Is there a political conotation? Does it refer to Bin Laden's construction company? Is it a computer reference? Does it really refer to a defunct Bin Laden group?
