PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- An Ohio man is making a run for freedom. Municipal Judge Michael Cicconetti ordered Monday that Michael Logar, 33, compete in a 5-mile race next month. The better Logar finishes in the race, the less time he will have to serve under house arrest. The reason for the unusual sentence was that Logar, a passenger in a car, evaded an Ohio State Patrol trooper after being seen drinking a beer. He admitted running from the trooper June 9. The same judge recently sentenced a man who had called a cop a pig to stand in a pen with a big (350 pound) pig. I think both of these guys will learn their lessons.
