Slapshot 2: Breaking the Ice hits stores on Tuesday. It was made to go straight to video, but I wonder why Universal didn't try playing it in theaters in at least a few markets. I gotta believe that folks in Detroit (and really Michigan in general), Minnesota, the Dakotas, Denver, Pittsburgh, Boston, and, of course, Canada among other places would be willing to shell out a few bucks to see this on the big screen.
